  1. 帖前5：12-24

5:12 弟兄姊妹们，我们求你们，要尊重那些在你们当中辛劳工作─那些主所选召来劝诫你们的人。Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you.
5:13 为了他们的工作，你们应该用最大的敬意和爱心对待他们。你们自己也要和睦相处。Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
5:14 弟兄姊妹们，我们劝你们，要警告懒惰的人，鼓励灰心的人，扶助软弱的人，耐心待每一个人。And we urge you, brothers, warn those who are idle, encourage the timid, help the weak, be patient with everyone.
5:15 要谨慎，谁都不可以恶报恶，要常常彼此关心，为别人的好处着想。Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else.
5:16 要常常喜乐，Be joyful always;
5:17 常常祷告，pray continually;
5:18 在任何环境中都要感谢。这是上帝为你们这些属于基督耶稣的人所定的旨意。give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
5:19 不要抑制圣灵的工作；Do not put out the Spirit’s fire;
5:20 不要轻视信息的传讲。do not treat prophecies with contempt.
5:21 要详细察验每一件事，持守那美善的，Test everything. Hold on to the good.
5:22 弃绝一切邪恶。Avoid every kind of evil.
5:23 愿那赐平安给我们的上帝使你们完全圣洁！愿他保守你们的灵、魂、体，在我们的主耶稣基督再来的时候完整无缺！May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5:24 那选召你们的上帝是信实可靠的；他一定成全这事。The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.
